Jesus... the Divine Healer

REFLECTING ON THE VARIOUS PHYSICAL HEALINGS that Jesus performed during His three years of earthly ministry, we cannot say, taking into consideration everything recorded in the four gospels that they include all the healings performed by Jesus, especially if considering what John has written: Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book ... Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written. (John 20:30; 21:25) Bearing in mind the words of the Apostle John, which are reasonable, one cannot therefore say that the healing miracles found in the four Gospels represent the totality of what Jesus did; they are simply a synthesis and clearly describe the various kinds of deeds that Jesus did. If the evangelists mention them, they definitely did not have to say that these represented the best and most significant acts, but that they only adapted the story of healing to the purpose for which they wrote. The miracles of healing that Jesus did, whether recorded or, not all speak of the divine power manifested by Jesus during His mission on this earth. On the other hand, we cannot disregard the long silence of 18 years that the evangelists ignored in Jesus' life; leaving Him at the age of twelve and then returning to Him when He was about thirty. During those long years, which were years of preparation for the official launch of the great commission, did Jesus perform miracles of healing? We are told nothing about this and no one can answer categorically yes or no!
