This encounter brings together all their requirements as instrumentalists improvisers, by providing them a limitless field of exploration. The richness of tone, colours and dynamics... The virtuosity, the intimacy of Bruno Chevillon and Régis Huby hit, pinched and bowed strings associated with the abundant creativity and imagination of Michele Rabbia... What a fabulous program!

Codex is also entirely based on improvisation and real time (live?) composition. These musicians do not merely work on lines on their acoustic instruments, they work deeply and on several dimensions, on the memory aspect of sounds. Régis Huby, Bruno Chevillon and Michele Rabbia are seeking in a very broad way to use the

harmonic spectrum. They question not only the development in play (involved?) on their instruments, but also the sound path (associated?) with (the) electronic to achieve a multi layered composition comparable to paintings.
