Slipknot

Slipknot is one of the most influential and genre-defining bands to emerge from the late '90s metal scene. Known for their aggressive sound, chaotic live shows, and iconic masks, the nine-piece outfit from Des Moines, Iowa quickly carved out a unique identity in the world of heavy music. Their self-titled debut album, released in 1999, introduced a brutal blend of nu-metal, industrial textures, and percussive intensity that resonated with a generation hungry for something raw and unfiltered.

With albums like Iowa (2001), Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses) (2004), and We Are Not Your Kind (2019), Slipknot consistently evolved their sound without compromising the ferocity at their core.
