Gov't Mule - Heavy Load Blues

Gov't Mule is back with their first-ever blues album, Heavy Load Blues. For songwriter and frontman Warren Haynes it has been a project on his to do list for years - he just didn't know whether it would work best as a Gov't Mule record or a solo record. Well here it is!

The band has played some blues here and there during shows, and has always done so in a unique way that drawed on the band's collective chemistry. But with Heavy Load Blues they have tried to stay as true to the spirit of tradition blues as they possibly could - without losing sense of the Gov't Mule way.
