The “Valkyrie ponytail with a tied knot,” which is based on a discovery of a Valkyrie figurine found in Denmark on the Danish island of Funen. The Valkyrie is armed with a sword and shield. It is a three-dimensional piece with detailed Viking costume and hair fashion from around the 9th century. The Valkyrie figure's detailed hair is tied into a ponytail with a bun on top of the head.
The “Thorup Braids” are a fantastic find of over 2200 year old braids discovered during a peat mining operation in Thorup where a woman cut off her beautiful braids and offered them to the gods.'The “Ellinge Woman Braid” the famous and dramatic discovery of a girl sacrificed over 2,000 years ago in the pre-Roman Iron Age in Denmark, found in a bog in 1938.
