Primal leadership is the emotional dimension of leadership. Researchers found a positive correlation between psychopathy and emotional intelligence (EI), especially a positive correlation between psychopathy and the perception scale of EI. Also psychopaths showed a greater emotional regulation and perception than control participants. .
