Hajong Tribe of North East India

The first ever research oriented book on the ancient indigenous Hajong tribe of North East India by top Assamese literary and heritage scholar Principal Bhabananda Deka, who conducted extensive field research over several decades by personally visiting Hajong villages spread all over Assam and North East India, and collected all materials regarding their way of life, culture, customs, language, literature and heritage. He authored several books on the Hajong tribe, which are a few among his 116 books that he left behind after his untimely death on 4 December 2006.
