The jester throws his hat in the ring

An obnoxious celebrity

Not known for generosity

Somehow secures the castle's west wing




Is the court jester up to the task?

Is there wisdom behind that orange mask?

Normalcy fades; chaos ensues

As the peoples' worst fears come true

He turns the castle into a masque




A cautionary story in rhyme

About a warning as old as time

Fool me once, I say shame on you

Fool me twice, it makes me the fool
