Quiet Verses

When a retired colleague reveals a possible miscarriage of justice, Detective Chief Inspector Evans is unimpressed. He can see no reason to doubt that Aaron Warner killed his mother Amy, a former rock band vocalist. Detective Sergeant Tessa Turnbull is given two days to disprove the theory that Aaron was innocent but when Amy's fate is linked to a current murder investigation, Evans is forced to think again. Convinced that Aaron was wrongly convicted, Turnbull identifies possible alternative suspects and motives with origins dating back to 1982. But what has made Amy a victim so many years later?
