Who is Jesus, and How Might His Second Coming Occur: Part Iii: the Second Coming 1st edition

This third volume is meant to follow Part I (The Education of Jesus) and Part II (The Teachings of Jesus) of the same title. This volume, Part III: The Second Coming, takes up with the Gospel of Mary after Jesus' death, and the development of a model worship service for those who want to return the teachings of Jesus to the center of worship. This book then traces the influence of Paul in forming the Christian Church, the establishment of Christianity as the state religion of the late Roman Empire, and a short subsequent history of the various types of God worship: Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant, Islam, Jewish, and Latter Day Saints (Mormon). What follows is a fictional account based on what heaven might be like, with original suggestions as to what happens to people after they die. A contemporary example of a Catholic young man who rejects God is offered, with a surprising result that might lead to what many would refer to as the Second Coming. This book is designed to get people to think, or re-think, what is important in their concept of religion. It suggests what new directions religion needs to take for the advancement of humanity in the future, based on the two thousand year old teachings of Jesus.
