The Solo Duet of Felix Tovar: in Music He Found Happiness... but Was It Really Worth Finding?

"Ladies & gentlemen... The Chi-Clefs!"

Felix Tovar grew up in an abusive home on the Northwest side of Chicago, Illinois. Having been protected by his mother before she left town, Felix learned that his only escape from his father's neglect was through singing and writing music. After an awkward meeting with a record producer named Tavarie Mathis, he was given an opportunity to be part of a singing group that was currently being created. Being shy and skeptical of the situation, Felix declined the offer. Reconsidering it a year later, he becomes the newest member of The Chi-Clefs. For the first time in his life Felix was making friends and doing what he loved. However, what started out as a dream come true quickly turned into a nightmare worst then if he had remained living at home. With 20 original songs, The Solo Duet of Felix Tovar tells the story of a guy who finds his true self through music, love, and family. Trying to have it all is not always the answer to a happy and prosperous life.
