Freedom

Jacob left his hometown of Reading, in the colony of Pennsylvania, with his fellow friends in order to fight for freedom from the rule of the English Crown. In time, Jacob found himself attempting to survive the winter encampment of the Colonial Army at Valley Forge. During this encampment, he is on a foraging expedition, when he is injured and left to survive on the merciful treatment of an old widow woman. Eventually he met a young lad by the name of William, who possesses a secret, which in time alters the destiny of Jacob's life. In the end, Jacob settles in the Northern Providence of Mexico which is now THE STATE OF TEXAS.
