Shadowforce: the Quest for Power

July 1988--- An alien war reaches Earth's Solar system. The third planet's inhabitants are unaware of the battle high above or the circumstances surrounding the alien spacecrafts that are destroyed in it!But an inexplicable energy is released and absorbed into the planet's atmosphere. Four years later the effects of those fateful events begin to show when the people of Earth, both good and bad, who are 'Specially Affected' by the alien energy either die from it or are enhanced with new physical or mental powers and abilities. A quest for even more power begins and those Specially Affected People who believe in what is good and right for all mankind find that they are pitted against those who serve only themselves. In this hour of darkness Shadowforce is born! Led by Shadow Raven, a young man named Jake Piddington, Shadowforce must rise up against the world's most evil and powerful organizations including The Fourth Reich, The Echelon Square, and The Iron Ballista Core. In this powerquest, alliances are quickly formed and it doesn't take long for Shadowforce to realize that they must go on the offensive. But an attack by the gathered allies could be jeopardized by a traitor in their midst. The strategy of the battle plan and tactics used by Shadowforce may decide the fate of the world for decades to come; turning the Quest for Power into a struggle for power that may have no winners.
