The Attack

Imagine being shredded alive by two dogs you have known their whole lives or being a grandparent and watching your grandchild dying right in front of your eyes, screaming for your help, but there was nothing you could do but trust God. Imagine being a parent and getting a phone call in the middle of the night--a parent's worst nightmare, rushing to see the worst. These are all the things that Katelynn Burner's family felt on the night of December 10, 2005. The Attack is the chilling story of Katelynn's attack by the family's two Doberman pinschers told through Katelynn's eyes; her grandmother's, who was with her during the attack; and her parents' eyes. All the same story but interpreted so differently. The book includes pictures and details how everyone was feeling and seeing things as the night slowly dragged on, making seconds feel like hours and hours feel like days.
