The Challenge

An ancient vampire is on a vendetta against humanity. He has seen his land destroyed and loved ones killed by the Europeans when they colonized the new world. He has been hunted for many years by a secret organization who keeps the existence of vampires concealed and will kill any vampires who try to make their existence known. Frank Ryerson and Carl Lethgate are two detectives who are struggling to comprehend a series of murders. The bodies that have been found have massive blood loss, with what appears to be bite marks to each victim's throat. During the course of the investigation, they encounter a man who claims he is a vampire expert and can help with their investigation. What the detectives don't realize is that they're trying to track down a deadly killing machine that has been killing for hundreds of years. While their investigation is being hampered by a secret organization that will use any means necessary to kill the vampire and keep the killings out of the public eye, the detectives take it far beyond the scope of their job to end the killings.
