Perilous Summer

What is the common thread that links fraud, assault, extortion, murder and a twelve-year-old boy on the brink of incarceration in a Juvenile Detention Center? Doctor John Knight is helping the widow of an old friend save her home after a mysterious email pops up on her computer from a man claiming to be her deceased husband's son. This is just the beginning of a series of events and crimes that will have an effect on his own household. The perilous summer brings permanent changes into the lives of those it touches...some good and some bad. Evil and greed are the driving forces behind the crimes. It is Tony, a kid with a rap sheet, who brings about the biggest changes in John and Kathy's loves and who unwittingly draws danger right into their backyard.
